What happens
The area is numbed, decay is removed and the tooth rebuilt with tooth-coloured material.
At the end your bite is checked so the tooth doesn’t touch first.
Afterwards
Don’t chew until the numbness wears off (about 2–3 hours) so you don’t bite your lip or cheek.
Mild sensitivity to cold for a few days is normal.
If the tooth feels “high” when you bite, let us know so it can be adjusted.
